Arts and Entertainment
AmericanStyle Magazine has named Eureka Springs a Top 25 Arts Destination for the past three years. Known as Mid-America’s Art Capital, the city has dozens of nationally recognized art galleries. More than 300 working artists make their home in this eclectic destination town. Most of our galleries are located within easy walking distance of each other in our historic downtown. The May Festival of the Arts is a month-long celebration of art in all its forms. Our annual White Street Studio Walk and monthly Saturday Gallery Strolls give visitors a chance to meet artists in person and see their creations. The performing arts are also on display. There are free daily concerts in Basin Spring Park, national acts performing in the Auditorium, nightly shows at the Pine Mountain Music and Comedy Theater as well as the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down, concerts in clubs around town, and even Opera In The Ozarks. The opera shows take place during the summertime at Inspiration Point, just west of town. Opera in the Ozarks has served as the launching pad for many national and international opera stars for over 60 years. All these attractions and more await you in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, close to the Original Treehouse Cottages.
